When to use heat versus ice

Don’t Forget:

1.     Whether you heat or ice, apply the treatment for no more than 20 min. 

2.     Time between treatments should be approximately 60 min. 
For your ice or heat treatment to be most effective, you want your body temperature to return to normal before you apply another treatment. 

3.     If you feel burning stop immediately! 

4.     An alternative to the hot packs is an active warm up!
