Meet the Athletic Training Center Team
Chris Cox

A former left-handed pitcher for Spartanburg Methodist College and the University of South Carolina-Upstate, he underwent extensive rehabilitation for both elbow and shoulder injuries. These experiences ignited a passion for understanding the complexities of the human body and its movement, leading him to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Chris carries a USAW Level 1 certification and is a credentialed dry needling practitioner. He is also a member of the American Society of Shoulder & Elbow Therapists (ASSET) and has contributed to the development of anatomy and physiology curriculum for the College Board.
